Devaka Gunawardena

Devaka Gunawardena is a political economist and Research Fellow at the Social Scientists’ Association (SSA) in Sri Lanka. He holds a PhD in Anthropology from the University of California – Los Angeles. He writes frequently for the national newspaper the Daily FT, in addition to publishing in regional forums such as The Wire and the Economic and Political Weekly.
